Here at WHYM, we cherish the art of brewing both traditional and innovative styles. Our menu encompasses classics such as Saison, ESB and German Lagers, the latest trends such as New England or West Coast IPAs and novel creations hatched from our passion for experimenting with ingredients and flavors.
But Matt hardly works alone. The entire WHYM team is a vital part of our brewing process, since many of our beer ideas come from collaboration with our knowledgeable and beer-loving staff as well as feedback from our customers. By blending our diverse skills and shared passion for brewing, we deliver an exceptional beer experience for our patrons with every visit.
As a craft micro brewery, our 2-barrel Blichmann brewhouse is the heart of our operations and provides optimal flexibility for producing a wide range of beer. Committed to excellence, we carefully select and source only the finest ingredients, like malts from Germany and Belgium, the finest English barley, and hops from the Pacific Northwest, Australia and New Zealand.
Our Brewer Matthew Barrett boasts extensive brewing experience that began in his early 20s as an enthusiastic homebrewer and continued while working for two of New Hampshire’s most well known breweries – Moat Mountain and Great Rhythm. Matt’s ongoing love for learning about the science of beer and exploring innovative brewing techniques drives his belief in continuous improvement, always striving to make each batch better than the last.
